It all started when Essex community leaders, including clergy, got together to discuss how best to feed those in our neighborhoods who hunger for food, relationship, and connection. Heart & Soul of Essex identified Community Connections as a shared value in our neighborhoods. Essex Eats Out seeks to build on this shared value by providing healthy, free meals in a warm, safe, and inclusive atmosphere.
